‘He owes them': MAGA activists worry about Musk’s influence over Trump in legal migration spat​

Some hardliners concede big H-1B reforms are tough. But they still say they have power in the next administration.


Immigration hawks believe they won an important first battle in their skirmish with billionaire Elon Musk over specialty foreign worker visas. But they remain privately worried about their ability to retain the upper hand in the broader war within the GOP given the rising influence of tech moguls as Donald Trump returns to the White House.

The bitter clash that spilled out in public over the holidays between MAGA activists who favor tighter restrictions on a program designed to attract high-skilled immigrant workers and corporate leaders who rely on their labor ended with Musk conceding in a post on X that the H-1B visa program he previously extolled “is broken and needs major reform.”
 
American cannot reduce the H1B visas too quickly, due to the sad state of our Trade Schools being taken over by woke.

In time a year or two, we can significantly reduce the H1B visas allowed.

For now, cutting the number in half, should be the wise middle path.

Interesting suggestion but still is bringing in foreigners who will take American jobs.

Im not a Democrat, I do not have a Party.

But if you aren’t for Woke, then you support White Supremacy, it’s a simple fact. If you don’t support diversity and equality, you support White Supremacy. It’s been obvious with you since day one.
