A paralyzed man is playing Polytopia just by thinking via his Neuralink Telepathy device.
Noland Arbaugh, the first human recipient of Neuralink's brain-computer interface, plans to use his N1 implant for 72-hours straight in a live stream on X starting at 2 PM ET on Friday, November 22, 2024
Arbaugh, who is paralyzed from the shoulders down due to a diving accident, has already demonstrated significant progress with the implant, including using his thoughts to play video games like Civilization VI, Mario Kart, online chess, as well as setting the world record for speed and accuracy of a cursor using a human BCI at 4.6 BPS, and subsequently at 8.0 BPS.

"The main reason I’m doing this 72-hour challenge is to demonstrate what Neuralink can do. It’s an incredible technology, and using it continuously for this long will help show its capabilities."
