I'm pretty sure that the issue is not the use of cages as temporary detention cells. The question is who tRump was putting in them.

Obama immediately sought the parents or relatives of the children to unite them. Trump is using them as jail cells. These kids being ripped from their family at such an important time in their development is extremely damaging. These kids are suffering psychological damage. It is extremely cruel.
