Finally, some legit protests. No violence. Just people who will not be denied their fundamental inalienable right to free exercise of religion and freedom of assembly.
The mayor has said he will shut churches and synagogues.
 
I'm Jewish but these are religious moron Jews who are delaying the process and taking the Covid recovery backwards. We in NY are disgusted with them! And because I am well versed in the language, I have told many of them so in Yiddish, which shocks the hell out of them.

I'm surprised/disappointed it’s taken this long to see some pushback.

The constitution and bill of rights doesn’t get nullified by a virus. Period.
 
In a similar vein, I’m masking less. Now I only put it on out of respect for small business owners [if they require masks in their business I’ll respect that] not any more in large box stores, convenient store chains and etc.

I’m not doing something that—in my mind, is pointless, just to ‘comply’. Did it for awhile but I’ve had enough.

So yesterday I was checking out at a convenient store and this Nancy behind me starts going on about people not wearing masks. For a bit I wasn’t sure he was talking about me and I was focused on punching in my card numbers and getting my crap so I couldn’t be sure.

Sure enough, I was the topic and this person standing next to him started giving the Nancy [a dude] a lecture on freedom as I was walking out. I didn’t need to say a word—I just grinned as I walked out lol.

It was a wonderful thing to behold.

When any business says they require a mask, I ask them for one. If they can't provide it, I don't wear it.

It should not, but apparently it is one of those exploitable gray areas in the law.

Meh, I don’t like the idea of small business owners being hassled it too many non-maskers are in their place. I have a soft for small business owners. If they have a sign up I’ll don the face diaper.

I will wear it out of respect but if they require it, they provide it. That goes for any business. They're asking me to do it not the other way around.
