The congress has got to agree on a CR to fund the government until February 2019. They've got to pass it...and send it to Donald Trump to sign.
If he vetoes the bill...they have got to over-ride the veto...so the government can continue to operate until February.
Then in February, they have got to do the same thing...and keep doing it for as long as Trump insists on money for his silly campaign promise.
That is the only way to resolve this.
Obviously it will not be good for the Republicans to over-ride a veto of a president of their own party. (Don't know if it has ever been done.) BUT this is a problem of the Republican president's making...and they have got to take the heat for it.
Or, as the abomination says...it will be "A VERY LONG SHUT DOWN."
