Well, it turns out that a long-time friend and sometime reader – one of you, that is – was in the movie! He’s an executive at a grand old Dallas Hotel, and is an exceptionally polite, shy, and hospitable soul. Those of you who have seen the movie will know him as “Vanilla Face.”
