What does the Trent Affair have to do with the Spanish American War, and how is it analogous to the foreign policy of the last 50 years, with specific regard to Johnson and W.

I'm guessing you used the Spanish-American War as an example instead of WWI because it came first, and the matter at hand will not seem as blatantly obvious to observers as it would in a WWI context???
