My dad received a letter in the mail. I believe it was from a veteran's service. It was advertising buying pre-paid cremation services. This struck me as a bit morbid, and I thought, dammit, he's only 64!!

Needless to say, we burned the letter!!!

Speaking of irony, we were watching a family movie, which required the usual commentary and heckling. At one point, my dad and I came up with a good joke about the location resembling the Playboy Mansion. Then I log on and find a post about a disease spreading throughout the very same mansion due to bacteria in the hot tub water.

On a serious note, if your dad is going to get cremated, now is the time to plan it out. It's fucking EXPENSIVE.

No, he's going to be buried in a mosoleum at a Catholic cemetary. He's even showed me which tile he purchased when we were there for a Memorial Day mass.
