Don't you just love how the Republicans care so much for working people and families that are hurting? I guess that MASSIVE increase must have been objected to by the Mega Corporations that own the Republican party. After all, that just means more money for them and more campaign donations for the Republican politicians that they own.

The irony is the money would end up in the pockets of the owners anyway. The people are hurting and would spend it to survive and buy things desperately needed. They are not vacationing on a tropical island. Just trying to keep a roof over their heads and to eat. Real estate would make out well. Grocery would make even more. Restaurants would too.
