They can pass it using the reconciliation. That would require only a majority of a quorum — 51 senators present.

Chuck Schumer was on TV and said there are nowhere close to the votes needed. So we will have a shutdown for days or weeks. The government will re open but Trump will still not have his money.

Only 10 or more Republican Senators have already warned McConnell they will not approve of anything resembling a wall in their Bill!

If McConnell had the votes, he would be taking media interviews and announce it!
 
President needs to hold an oval office address, with the parents and loved ones killed by illegals. With parents of victims of the drug cartels. He’s asking for 5 billion out of a multi-trillion dollar budget to protect the American people. Put as much pressure on the Senators as possible.
