How bad is Fox?

It’s the f*cking weather report, the weather report, yet Fox doesn’t miss an opportunity to sneak in an innuendo, in the f*cking weather report

Consequently, some of the MAGA militia, who actually think Fox is a real news channel, will now believe Biden is actually responsible for hurricanes hitting the US

Is it any wonder prior Top 40 AM disc jockeys, and foreign tabloid publishers, learned quickly that they could turn themselves into millionaires telling conservatives exactly what they want to hear?

Another hurricane is about to batter our coast. Trump is complicit

The article's gist is that because Trump won't take Gorebal Warming seriously and is rolling back regulations, he is causing these hurricanes.

Is it the WP’s weather report? A TV weather report? Or is it an article clearly marked “opinion” prior to anyone even beginning to read it?

Point is Fox isn’t news, not even weather news, but 100% political infotainment designed specifically to convey a particular point of view regardless of accuracy, and millions on the right fall prey to it 24/7

Fox was designed to present deeply slanted right-wing views. They were never to be a news organization. They were after profits and boosting right-wing ideology. They admitted that they were in the business of telling lies. The talking heads admitted it too. I would think Fox viewers would be angry at the lies, but they are not. They want them to tell more. Lies are what rightys views are based on. The Vulpine viewers want more lies. If Fox actually started to be balanced, the viewership would flee. Many have already gone to crazier stations to get the lies they need.

Moving the goal posts. That the WaPo, a major newspaper would publish a column on how Trump is causing hurricanes by itself meets your original criteria. If the paper didn't believe that was true and reasonably factual, they wouldn't have published the column because it would be lies and disinformation.

And, MSNBC and to a slightly lesser extent, CNN do the same thing in the other direction. What's your point?

They want those lies, need those lies, for them, the lies legitimatize what they want to be real, no matter what Fox broadcasts, most of the MAGA militia is going to believe it

Not a moving goal posts, Fox is implying in a weather report, not news, not a designated opinion piece, but a weather report, and again, the WaPo article is noted opinion, up front, on top, opinion, do I have to explain to you what opinion means?

Deflection. You went straight to it as usual. CNN is not at all like Fox. MSNBC tries to do news. Fox does not even care. They lie for money.

Exactly, there is no pretense to report actual news, the whole “fair and balanced” bullshit was bogus from the jump

Opinion only means it's one, or some's, point of view. It doesn't invalidate what facts they use. Weather reports are in a sense, opinion too. After all, they are only best guesses as to what the weather will do. As an example, the weather guessers said Arizona would be inundated with rain by hurricane Hilary. Arizona wasn't. For the most part we go light rain or intermittent showers.

So, my earlier commentary stands.
