Point is Fox isn’t news, not even weather news, but 100% political infotainment designed specifically to convey a particular point of view regardless of accuracy, and millions on the right fall prey to it 24/7

If the paper didn't believe that was true and reasonably factual, they wouldn't have published the column because it would be lies and disinformation.

Opinion only means it's one, or some's, point of view. It doesn't invalidate what facts they use. Weather reports are in a sense, opinion too. After all, they are only best guesses as to what the weather will do. As an example, the weather guessers said Arizona would be inundated with rain by hurricane Hilary. Arizona wasn't. For the most part we go light rain or intermittent showers.
