It is truly apparent to me that in no era have we ever been closer to communism that we are now, with an explicitly communo-fascist-Muslim-atheist president who parades this fact around night and day. Well, in Marx's little book called "The Communist Manifesto", he had a section in which he described HOW to bring about communist revolution, and liberals have been slowly bringing this about every day since they seized power from in the Progresso-communist era and eliminated liberty. Let's go over this list to see just HOW FAR we are to communism!
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
Through insidious application of rent control, liberals have effectively abolished the right to property. Marx would be proud!
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
With the heavy levels of taxation under our current system, our most productive citizens must engage in back breaking labor day and night just to feed their families. This was Marx's true goal, and the Obammunists have accomplished it!
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
The death tax! The Socialist Republic of America is on its way!
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
I imagine Obama and the rest of the Commiecrat Politburo are dreaming of this as we speak. They HAVE to confiscate the property of the rich in order to keep them from fleeing from their humongous, unprecedented tax raises, and pretty soon all tea partiers will be branded as "rebels" and have their property stolen for merely protecting their country from the scourge of communism!
5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
We were never as close to communism as in 1791, 1816, or 1913! Oh wait, wasn't the federal reserve a private entity? Oh well, the fact that my mindless talking points conflict with each other doesn't mean we're any less closer to communism.
6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
Who here amongst you doesn't agree that CNN and MSNBC are arms of our communist government? Of course none of you do! Fox News is the only true new channel of freedom, and soon it will be banned, obviously!
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
Government soil conservation plans! I knew it! FDR has truly brought communism to the US!
8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Unemployment insurance! Oh, wait, dammit, that encourages people not to work. Someone find me a new mindless talking point.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.
Urban sprawl. Check!
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, &c, &c.
Public schools, the true sign that we finally in a communist era! And I'm sure the Commiecrats will soon reintroduce child labour so that it will at least be present in some form (clearly, according to the text, full abolition of child labour is contrary to communism).
