Their stuff is far, far better than Asian equivalents, particularly Chinese tooling.
Israel has also supplied the US with captured examples of Soviet technology (gotten during wars with their neighbors) in weapons and military hardware that the US then used to develop countermeasures and other systems to defeat.
For example, they gave the US several MiG 21 at a time we had little hard data on the plane
