You can't delete a thread as a regular user.

You can change a title within the first 15 minutes or so by double clicking the link and pressing stop, though. Seems to be some kind of bug that I've exploited a few times.

That's not a "bug" Emomark. That's a setting that I put into place. You should be able to change your title for about 2 minutes after adding a thread.
