How many of you can answer this?

As long as ab=48, therefore a=48/b (dividing both sides by b)

Then, at a+b=2 equation, replace a by 48/b

So you get 48b+b=2

Multiply all terms by b, you will get

48+b2=2b

b =(2+√-188)/2=1+i√ 47 = 1.0000+6.8557i

And there are no supernatural beings and there is no "creator".

I suck at math...but I am decent at logic.

You may be right about the math (I have no way of knowing)...

...but your comment "...there is no "creator"...is illogical and is merely a blind guess about the true nature of the REALITY of existence.

You shouldn't offer that guess as an assertion.

ASIDE: If everything that actually exists is considered a part of nature...you are correct that there are no "supernatural beings."

If there is a creator...if a "creator" actually exists...it is a part of nature.

If ab=48 and a+b=2 what are a and b? Please show how you arrived at your answer.

It can't be solved. To solve the problem you have to convert it to a polynomial. In this case B^2 -2B +48.

You then plug that into a quadratic equation x=-b+/- sqr b^2 - 4AC/2A

However when you do that you end up with two irrational numbers (square roots of negative numbers) for A and B. Thus the problem cannot be completed.
