How Mulvaney REALLY feels about "The Wall":

Of course now that he is in the Trump Administration, he has had a change of heart.......:)

The status quo swamp creatures all think Trump is a terrible person. He's disrupting the Washington racket. He's somebody they can't control. He doesn't need their money, a cushy job when he leaves office or millions thrown at him for speaking tours to spew horseshit at adoring racketeers who want to buy his influence with crooked politicians. Trump is one of a kind. He's not a neo-conservative or a lunatic leftist, what he is, is the Washington Swamp's worst nightmare. Just by being Trump he's already exposed the Washington racket, the right/left conspiracy, the evil of the duopoly dictatorship, the unharnessed hatred of the entrenched professional politicians and the ungodly rot and corruption of business as usual in the D.C cesspool.

And maybe Trump is actually worse. Something that Trump supporters may actually have to consider. Much like hardcore Nixon supporters had to do.

I was actually reading your reply with interest until I got to the "peddling influence" comment. After that, your credibility ship simply "sailed". There is little doubt that Trump and family is "influence peddling" in ways that have never before been seen in DC. From Trump Tower Moscow to the Chinese granting Ivanka patents that they previously denied, the list goes on and on and on.

Now, if you can defend Trump's policies without showing the blatant hypocrisy that so many Trump supporters suffer from, your comments may be taken more seriously.

How many Trump administration heads have had to eat their real values to back a clown. Trump demands his people eat their values and ignore their educations and do what he wants. This is soul crushing to many of them.

You forgot requiring them to grovel at his feet. Remember the first Cabinet meeting and all of the "ass kissing" that went on? It was simply hilariously sickening to watch public officials swallow what little pride and self esteem that they actually have.

Trump is sure making money off the presidency. He has a scandal a week and only 17 investigations going on. Can't wait for the Dem house to investigate Trumpland. Mueller already has indivcted over 30 Trumpies and jailed 6.

Those who think Trump will every do anything for anyone but himself are delusional at beat, willfully blind at worst. His economic policies have destroyed the Obama REcovery that had 3458 days on the up side since Republicans destroyed the World Financial Markets in 2008. Now Trump is heading us down that same rathole, and his sheeple baaa his praises.

Trump doesn't need their money? Who knows if that is true, but he certainly wants it. Trump was a high priced speaker before he ran. This is not new. But corruption ofn the scale of this administration is unheard of., He is the New York, mafia type crook in Washinggton DC. This is going from bad to more crooked every day. If you hate what you label the DC cesspool, you don't want the biggest asshole sitting on the toilet.

I remember that cabinet meeting.. I have NEVER seen anything like that exercise in humiliation before.

All that you wrote here is so totally preposterous and irresponsible, it doesn't even deserve a response from a rationally thinking person!

Do not ever expect me to ever read any of your bullshit ever again, as you are too far from reality to ever be successful with influencing anyone with anything you have further to say here in the forum.

You are just one of the idiots running your mouth to hear your mouth run now! Congratulations!

Another of Don’s Swamp Rats Bails …

... just before publication of this New Yorker article. Must be "fake" n shit.

Icahn’s role was novel. He would be an adviser with a formal title, but he would not receive a salary, and he would not be required to divest himself of any of his holdings, or to make any disclosures about potential conflicts of interest. “Carl Icahn will be advising the President in his individual capacity,” Trump’s transition team asserted.

In the months after the election, the stock price of CVR, Icahn’s refiner, nearly doubled—a surge that is difficult to explain without acknowledging the appointment of the company’s lead shareholder to a White House position. The rally meant a personal benefit for Icahn, at least on paper, of half a billion dollars. There was an expectation in the market—an expectation created, in part, by Icahn’s own remarks—that, with Trump in the White House and Icahn playing consigliere, the rules were about to change, and not just at the E.P.A. Icahn’s empire ranges across many economic sectors, from energy to pharmaceuticals to auto supplies to mining, and all of them are governed by the types of regulations about which he would now potentially be advising Trump.

Janet McCabe, who left the E.P.A. in January, and now works at the Environmental Law and Policy Center, told me, “I’m not naïve. People in business try to influence the government. But the job of the government is to serve the American people, not the specific business interests of the President’s friends. To think that you have somebody with that kind of agenda bending the President’s ear is troubling.”

Conflicts of interest have been a defining trait of the Trump Administration. The President has not only refused to release his tax returns; he has declined to divest from his companies, instead putting them in a trust managed by his children. Questions have emerged about the ongoing business ties of his daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, who, since Trump took office, have reaped nearly two hundred million dollars from the Trump hotel in Washington, D.C., and from other investments. Although Trump promised to “drain the swamp,” he has assembled a Cabinet of ultra-rich Americans, including two billionaires: Betsy DeVos, the Secretary of Education, and Wilbur Ross, the Secretary of Commerce.

But Icahn is worth more than the Trump family and all the members of the Cabinet combined—and, with no constraint on his license to counsel the President on regulations that might help his businesses, he was poised to become much richer. Robert Weissman, who runs the watchdog group Public Citizen, told me, “This kind of self-enrichment and influence over decision-making by an individual mogul who is simultaneously inside and outside the Administration is unprecedented. In terms of corruption, there’s nothing like it. Maybe ever.” In conversations with me, financiers who have worked with Icahn described his appointment as a kind of corporate raid on Washington. One said, “It’s the cheapest takeover Carl’s ever done.”
