I was kind of thinking more along the lines of LBJ and Nixon starting our decline and downfall. Of course, America's been slowly dying since the proles elected Jackson, so let's not be short-sighted...
Its all well and good to debate where the decline started.
But until our elected officials (and indeed, we the people) can put aside the madness of party politics and start looking at what is best for the nation and our people, the decline will continue in one way or another.
