I am building an app to help with state politics

Hello I have been putting together a new website that aims to help voters interested in state politics. The gist of the app is simple, to align users' view points on bills to their legislators. We are able to do this by allowing users to cast votes on bills and comparing this to how legislators voted based on public data. Ideally this will provide voters with vital information about their legislators and upcoming legislation.

Most of the content we have is from state legislation websites and not the easiest or quickest to digest. We have a cool feature that allows moderators to add synopsis to these bills that summarize the content. Obviously this is going to be tricky to get right but we are aiming to have a completely unbiased opinion here on what the bill is doing. To see an example of this check out some of our Iowa Bills! https://voterscore.org/ia/bills/2021-2022/SF546/

I am not the most political savvy individual so it would be greatly helpful for some others to chime in and provide feedback! We are also in the process of being an established nonprofit by the IRS, fingers crossed! If you would like to become a volunteer of this project please reach out as we can totally use the help and insight!

Mobile App is under the name VoterScore! IOS version is up-to-date while android is still in the approval process.

Un huh. That's interesting because people need to to be more involved in local elections lest the UN send one of their ICLEI puppets there to get elected and do the UN's bidding instead of the voters.

As they have been doing for some time now. Not everywhere and not all the time, but where they could, they have.

What are your thoughts on the Battle of Hodow?

5 neg reps for that.
Americans need to start getting very involved in their local elections if they want proper representation.

The snoozefest that it is, it has to be done! It is your duty as an American!

It could benefit everybody later on.

The New York City Council just passed a bill that would allow an estimated 800,000 noncitizens to vote in local elections.

The measure will become law unless Mayor Bill de Blasio steps in and vetoes the bill, though he has said he does not plan to do so.

Even if the DEMOCRAT mayor has a change of heart, there was enough support on the council to override a veto.

New York City would join a dozen communities across the U.S. that allow noncitizens to vote, including eleven towns in Maryland and two in Vermont, the Associated Press reported.
