I am Proud of my president

Yeah, me too. It's very cool to at least feel good about who is in the Oval Office, and feel like the country is at the very least in competent, intelligent hands.

It feels like ages that Bush has been President. A very long, strange trip, indeed.

Conservatives ideas are now proven to be failures.

A new Era has begun in which increasingly the world will now face the problems with new ideas that can work instead of trying to retread the failed ideas of old.

Obama-anity is rampant.

I can relate, however. I can remember feeling happy when George Bush took office in 2000. Not to the degree that I seem to be seeing in some people here and elsewhere, but happy nonetheless. Then in the subsequent months and years there was disappointment. I vowed never to put much stock into a politician ever again. I wish Obama well but will not praise him until he has done something.
 
Bush was your guys best effort.

LMAO! Really Desh? Conservative ideals are far bigger than one man or even just the Republican Party. You can see that when you take off the Republican or Democrat only party blinders and see a bigger picture.

I am happy for you Desh and hope you are not dissapointed. I will wait to see if he is worthy to be proud of.
I am happy that he beat Palin in the presidential race though, some hope now.
