I can't vote for Hillary

Why not?

Honestly, she's not that radical. I can see no reason so many people hate her other than natural antipathy towards women.

There was a cartoon in the NY Times recently. Hillary was celebrating her 60th birthday, but she was saying "I'd just like everyone in the 18-59 range that I support those ages, also - and the 61-90 range, as well!"

That sums it up for me. I can't listen to 4 or 8 years of that. She re-defines expediency, even for a politician.

It has absolutey nothing to do with her being a woman. That's a lazy argument.

If it comes down to hillary or another republican, I will go with Hillary.
Kinda like deciding to die of AIDS or Cancer....
I have to view it as voting against, not for.

I agree and some people say I am a woman!

Yet it is unfortunately the argument anyone who comes out against Hitlary will face. You see it cannot be because we despise her political positions and continued pandering and hypocricy... it must be because she is a woman.

People's reaction to Hillary is much different than to any other candidate.

I wonder why...?

It COULDN'T be that she's a woman, could it? Naw, that CAN'T have anything to do with it?

Water you are not wrong that sexism abounds with her. Chris matthews being only one sterling example.

but not everyone who won't vote for her is a sexist.

She would, if the polls that moment showed that it would be beneficial for her too.

I've become so despondent about all of them to tell you the truth.
If any of the front runners are elected:

1) We'll still be in Iraq & Afghanistan for years to come after they are elected
2) Border and Port security seems to not be an issue for any of them
3) I'm still paying way too much in taxes considering what I'm getting back from the federal gov't.

I won't say it's deliberate sexism. It's just that people rarely see women as leaders. It's harder for a woman to get ahead. Anything Hilary does, she's mocked in a way that a man would never be, and half the comments about her have to do with her looks.

Let me tell you guys a secret. Unless a man thinks he's going to get some, 90% of them treat women like shit on the ground.

I just can't do it.

I won't.

I want somebody who won't start a war with Iran, wont' be an embarrasment on the world stage, will be able to hob-nob effectively with world leaders, will make significant steps to repair america's image, and will have a modicum of a social conciense with respect to working americans.

I won't vote for Hillary in the primary. But, I haven't decided what I'm going to do.

How is it different than other candidates? She is more of a "known" figure than many of the other candidates due to her stint as First Lady. So people have had a much longer time to formulate an opinion of her. Not to mention the extra hype she gets over other Senators because she is from NY and a Clinton.

While I am sure there are indeed some who will never vote for a woman/jew/black/moromon/catholic etc... to act as if that is the main reason most people don't like her is ridiculous.

I'll certainly vote for Hillary over a Republican.

My vote's either going to Edwards or Hillary. I can't really justify giving a vote to Kucinich whenever he's going to get like 0.1% of the vote in my state.

I think I will support him unless Gore or Dean decide to throw their hats in the ring.

If she wins the election I think I'm going green.

You think that way because you are in high school... and yes, most high school boys have one tracked minds.

You are also naive to think that people rarely see women as leaders. Though you are correct that they will face hurdles men do not, there are numerous examples of women in leadership roles. One of the best examples of leaders and one of the best examples of achieving the American dream despite the odds.... Oprah. Along with Gates and Dell, she is one of the top three leaders of my lifetime. (talking in the US)
