"I Don't Recall, I Don't Remember" (James Comey

When his majesty James Comey the fired FBI chief finally made himself available for a closed door congressional hearing he did exactly what I predicted.

Since the hearing was closed door and the committee members were all cleared for classified government information, and Comey couldn’t claim “classified materials” to avoid answering questions, I predicted that Comey would have to take the 5th to avoid testifying against himself. Well according to all reports coming out of the highly redacted transcriptions now released to the public, Sir James had it figured out He brought two lawyers with him and every question he didn’t like Comey’s lawyers were schooled to butt in and prevent him from answering, (on what grounds hasn’t been made clear yet). But no matter how you cut it Comey is simply refusing to answer because anything he might say relative to the question may tend to incriminate him, i.e. (The 5th).

Oh Yeah, I almost forgot, also according to the reports coming out from the hearing, Comey also seems to have developed a tremendous case of amnesia he answered question after question with “I can’t recall,” or “I don’t remember.”

And just think this is the same James Comey that leaked through a surrogate his classified, uncorroborated, government memo to the New York Times in an attempt to pin an “Obstruction Of Justice” rap on this President and trigger a Special Counsel investigation/Witch Hunt. He probably can’t remember that either!

There is no way that a lefty can objectively compare the number of times Comey said "I don't know", "I don't recall", or "I don't remember" to what would be a reasonable number of times for these claims to have been made. Comey could have said he didn't know to every last question, and it would not strike a lefty as being suspicious. Lefties do not have the ability to objectively process the notion that Comey was lying for even a single "I don't recall". Dogs cannot objectively evaluate if it is appropriate to lick their asses in front of people, but this does not make them bad. Dogs just don't have the ability to conceive when it is appropriate. Comey could have claimed to have been beamed up by aliens, and lefties would still not be able to objectively evaluate his claim for truthfulness.

Now you're left with no decency in reality on which to base your complaint. Comey's performance will play well to the audience, or at least play well enough. And so any objections to it will go relatively unnoticed. Comey is going to come out of this being seen as the good cop because the FBI will make sure of that.

Big mistake for Trump to decide to take on the establishment. You're bashing your head against a brick wall if you think that Trump can win public sentiment when he's stood up against Comey and his FBI friends. But by all means, keep the conversation alive. Just reading Goudy's opening questions shows it, again Strozk and Page, same insinuations, same veiled inquiry, over and over again, Comey was sharp, responded with appropriately nebulous answers
