Second, the movement conservatives, the Federalists, and the "constitution in exile" crowd, not only wants to eliminate the great society, and the New Deal, but their nominal leader and spokesperson (Grover Norquist) actually wants to take the country back to before the modest reforms of Teddy Roosevelt. In other words, back to the guilded age.
