I survived Charlottesville. Jews shouldn’t trust Trump when it comes to antisemitism

The first weeks of the president’s second term have been marked by flashy, insubstantial initiatives around antisemitism

It would be a mistake to deny that the United States is facing a crisis of antisemitism. Anti-Jewish bias and antisemitic violence continue to represent clear and present dangers to our communities: I myself am a survivor of the neo-Nazi assault in Charlottesville in 2017.

If the president were serious about fighting antisemitism, he would have to break up with his antisemitic friends and fans, including Holocaust deniers like Nicholas Fuentes, Great Replacement conspiracy theorists like Tucker Carlson, and self-described Western Chauvinists like the Proud Boys. This is something he has shown no intention of doing. Instead, he has opted for an act of political theater.

But given that his executive order, and the task force newly empowered to enforce it, have the force of law behind them, we can expect them to have pernicious real-world consequences, particularly for international students and workers with precarious legal statuses.

She also created the first Beit Tzipora Center in Israel, a partnership with WIZO, providing vital academic support to over 1,000 Ethiopian-born children annually. Her quiet strength and unwavering dedication left an indelible mark on the world.

You had to run and check who she was, phony

It is seriously unlikely that any of these measures will make Jewish students or staff any safer — on or off campus — aimed as they are at suppressing speech rather than combating hatred. If anything, they promise to undermine the intercommunal solidarity on which Jewish safety ultimately depends, creating the impression that prioritizing Jewish interests means adhering to a right-wing agenda with which a majority of Jews disagree. There is no future in which that agenda leads to happy results — for any of us.

"I really cannot deal with the stupidity. 🤦‍♂️

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“But he regularly speaks about the dangers of antisemitism and how much he opposes it!”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“But he has said explicitly countless times how much he loves the Jewish people!”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“But he has banned endless Jew haters from X!”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“But he often expresses how much of a threat radical Islam is!”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“But he has said multiple times that that was not a Nazi salute!”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“He did an actual podcast with Jewish leaders about the dangers of antisemitism.”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

“The dude visited Auschwitz, for God’s sake!”

“He did a Hitler salute! He hates Jews!”

Some people can’t be reasoned with and will never, under any circumstances, ever admit that perhaps, maybe, just maybe, they could be wrong.

The same type of delusion can also be seen when talking about Trump!

“He’s a racist!”

“But he has people of many races in his administration. Kash Patel is the first Indian to ever head the FBI. Marco Rubio is the first Latin Secretary of State, also son of immigrant parents.”

“He hates women!”

“Susie Wiles is the first female Chief of Staff.”

“He’s a homophobe!”

“Scott Besenst, who is an openly gay man, is now Secretary of the Treasury. Richard Grinnell, the envoy who just brought back six American hostages from Venezuela, is openly gay.”

“He’s all talk! He won’t follow through on any of it. He talks a big game but he won’t walk the walk.”

“In his first week of office, he’s fulfilled tens of promises that he made in his campaign.”

“He’s not a friend to Israel. It’s all an act.”

“But he’s lifted all arms restrictions, announced that Hamas supporters will be deported, and has suggested relocating millions of Gazans.”

Oh, and let’s not forget Netanyahu.

“He didn’t sign a deal because of personal reasons! He should bring the hostages back at all costs.”

Then he signs the deal and it becomes…

“How did he sign such a horrible deal?”

“He should resign along with his entire government including the defense minister!”

Then he fires the defense minister and it becomes…

“How could he fire a defense minister in the middle of a war?”

“He is the head. He’s responsible for everything that happens in the country!”

Then Israel carries out some of the most impressive military operations in history, and then they say…

“It wasn’t him. He wasn’t responsible for that. He deserves no credit.”

The stupidity knows no bounds. Truly.

I have yet to meet a single person suffering from MDS (Musk Derangement Syndrome), TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), or NDS (Netanyahu Derangement Syndrome) who admitted that maybe they were wrong about any of it.

It’s a sickness. An obsession and a sickness. Sort of reminds me of the Jew haters out there who are consumed with hatred and no matter what logic or facts you throw at them, they’ll never reconsider their insane and ludicrous opinion.

So who do you think will write more hateful and illogical comments below, the Musk Haters, Trump Haters, or Netanyahu haters?

Also, it would be interesting to examine the correlation and overlap of those three groups." H. FuddFB_IMG_1738711321482.jpg

Trump only likes Jews in Israel. He'd happily pogram American Jews.https://i.imgflip.com/9j2vfj.jpg
No doubt the Trump administration has passed around jokes like the one of having African-Americans swim back to Africa with a Jew under each arm.

There should be no doubt about White Nationalism owning the White House. It will be interesting to see what Independents think about this in November 2026. My guess is they will be more interested in results, not 20th century racism.

There’s an image that captures the threat posed by the White Christian nationalist movement — and how it could become even more dangerous over the next four years.

Taken during the Jan. 6 insurrection, the photo shows a solitary White man, his head pressed in prayer against a massive wooden cross, facing the domed US Capitol building. An American flag stands like a sentinel on a flagpole beside the Capitol under an ominously gray sky.

The photograph depicts a foot soldier in an insurgent religious movement trying to storm the halls of American power. What’s unsettling about the photo four years later is that much of the religious zeal that fed the insurrection is no longer outside the gates of power. Many of that movement’s followers are now on the inside, because their Chosen One, Donald Trump, returns this month to the Oval Office....

...What will Trump’s victory do for the White Christian nationalist movement?

It will embolden and empower the White Christian nationalist movement. In all likelihood, it will institutionalize White Christian nationalism. It will transform our government, with the goal of transforming our society. It will likely place White Christian nationalists in positions of enormous political power. It could be transformative.

How would that institutionalization of White Christian nationalism look in ordinary people’s lives?

We can expect this Christian nationalist agenda to transform the public school system. One of the proposals with Christian nationalists is to eliminate the Department of Education, to look to the privatization of schooling, but also to transform the curriculum throughout public schools. The anti-CRT (critical race theory) and anti-woke agenda that we have seen played out on a smaller scale in certain states — that is what we should expect to see on a national scale.

Project 2025 (a conservative blueprint for the next Republican president, although Trump tried to distance himself from it during the 2024 campaign) is explicit about cracking down on woke ideology, eliminating certain terms from laws and federal regulations, terms like “gender equality” and “reproductive rights.” This anti-woke agenda is a key point of unity between White Christian nationalists and the broader MAGA movement....

Break up with his Antisemitic friends?

You mean the democrats? The pro-Hamas scum who support the October 7 attacks in Israel? Those like you?

I don't think Trump IS friends with you.
