Just to be clear, that hole drains the glacier all the way down to bedrock. Thousands of feet. Presumably it eventually connects to the ocean.

Why do you defend him after he constantly insults you?

Depending on the depth, I too would like to float down that stream. When I was young, we went camping by a river and there was this side bend and I could pick up a small/medium rock and hold it and then "float" (under the water and not sinking, in the middle) down the side of the river. It was the greatest feeling. Like being weightless. It could have only been 30 feet, but it felt like miles.
 
I mean, the water looks gorgeous (glacial water always does), but it's obviously freezing, and that hole at the end draining it is a cosmic horror.
