I told you sycophants the constitution was clear!

There are many excited stories about how they seemed skeptical, but there is no ruling yet. Remember when they seemed ready to tell Obama that ACA (Obamacare) was unconstitutional? The guesses on how they will rule are often wrong.

Can anyone make a cogent argument as to why birthright citizenship is good for America?

Other than because it's in the constitution. Forget that. How is it beneficial to America?

Lots of things were legal until they weren't because the population decided such. Beating your wife and slavery come to mind.

Why is it beneficial and why shouldn't it be changed? If you just want to post stupid shit in reply to this without addressing the question feel free but that's on you.

If they rule in favor of birthright citizenship, you will know that to change it will require a Constitutional Amendment.

How is that in any way answering the very simple question I asked?
It isn't. It is relevant to what happens with the ruling. You asked for opinions... "why shouldn't?"...

I prefer to wait until there is a ruling. Then I know the next steps. Either you celebrate if you don't want it to change, or you know what your next steps must be. Asking inane "why shouldn't" questions is the same as just wishing for stuff. It is literally "what if"...
