I dig this Webb guy. Dems can learn from this guy, about growing a spine and being balls-to-the-wall.

Hillary Joining Webb For Measure Opposing War With Iran

By Eric Kleefeld - October 1, 2007, 5:08PM

Hillary Clinton took a lot of heat from liberals last week over her vote for the non-binding Kyl-Lieberman Amendment, which declared Iran's military to be a terrorist organization. Now she seems to be working to make up that gap by working with Jim Webb on a binding measure to stop a war against Iran.

Taylor Marsh reports that Hillary will be joining Webb as a co-sponsor of his amendment, first introduced in March, which would require Congressional authorization before the president could launch a large-scale operation against Iran.

Yeah, he's sturdy of character, but what is the deal with Hillary? Is running under the "Hello, I'm schizophrenic" banner really a strategy?

Yes. The wind changed direction on her, it is time to do change with it.

I view her metaphorically as constantly wetting her finger and following whatever the current wind pattern is. The problem with this: people in the us are fickle.

this is good:
Washington, DC - Senator Webb this week plans to reintroduce his amendment to support our nation's troops through responsible deployment cycles. The measure requires that active duty troops have at least the same time at home as the length of their previous tour of duty overseas. After four and a half years of occupation in Iraq, it is time for the availability of troops to dictate the operational tempo, and not the other way around. Politics aside, Senator Webb believes we need to be proper stewards of our men and women in uniform. His amendment seeks to do that.

i like this 1 2:
Washington, DC - Senator Jim Webb's G.I. Bill received bicameral support today with Congressman Bobby Scott's introduction of the bill in the House of Representatives. The "Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2007" seeks to provide veterans of the 9/11 era with educational benefits similar to those provided to service members at the end of World War II.

hmm more i read about him the more i like him. I need to investigate more but i think id vote him.
