Dealing with medical institutions should automatically entitle people to hazardous duty pay. I'm currently dealing with a mental health institution that wants to discharge my stepson, stating that his health insurance has a lifetime cap on mental health treatment (drug abuse) at just 2 in patient stays. The ACA (Obamacare) did away with lifetime and annual caps on essential services like mental health and drug abuse treatment. So I inform the hospital AND the insurance company of this highly publicized federal law known as the Affordable Care Act, all to have them tell me that they are aware of it, but it's not really a law.
