Problem with this analogy is that trans isn't a cause of murder any more than loneliness or anger is a cause of murder whereas the means of book production are necessarily a cause of books. There are countless cases of trans, loneliness and anger occurring without anyone getting shot.

Absolutely. Telling people with a penis that they can be a woman encourages mental illness. It's not connected to reality. It's akin to telling a person with schizophrenia who has hallucinations of Santa Claus that they are actually seeing Santa Claus.
