Lets start a list of things you dont want the government to make illegal, but you dont support or condone...

drinking oneself to death,
mohawks on 10 year olds,
gambling,
cheating on your wife,
80 year olds having sex,
the Republican party,
Neo-cons,
compassionate conservatives,
Jimmy Swaggert,
the Catholic Church,
rebuilt tires,
realtors and
stock brokers.

P.S. This comes from Einsteins (Dixie) claim that if you are not for making something illegal, you support and condone it!
 
Dixie doesn't personally support inter-racial marriage (remember the FP.com thread), but I don't think he wants to make inter-racial marriage illegal.

Yeah, you are right, it is an idiotic statement to claim you are against something, yet for it being legal. In fact, it's beyond idiotic.

Wow, I'd say I was pretty consistent, I don't see a single thing I support and condone, yet feel it should be illegal, or that I don't support and condone, yet feel it should be legal. I guess that means I am not a two-faced liberal hypocrite, like some people?
 
I think that dixie voted against removing language concerning interracial marriage from the alabama constitution

You demonstrated that you were extremely familiar with the arguments AGAINST inter-racial marriage, and the MLK holiday. In fact, you were so well-versed in the arguments AGAINST them, I'd say you were an expert in the reasons to be against interracial marriage and MLK.

Anybody who is that well-versed in the arguments against mixing the races, did A LOT of reading up on it. And made themselves experts in the argument against mixing races.

I think you were so knowlegable about the arguments AGAINST racial mixing and the MLK holiday, because you personally were against them.

Please don't try to convice me that you taught yourself all the arguments against racial mixing, so that you would be better armed to deal with the racists. I ain't buying that anymore, than I'm buying your heroic, IED-dodging trip to Baghdad.

WOW! Amazing... I went through another list, and had the exact same consistency! Jeesh, it almost seems like, the things I think should be legal, I also support and condone! It's like I actually have some integrity and principle, instead of being a two-faced hypocrite!
 
Jarod.... the difference between your list and abortion is that everything on your list you do to yourself. Abortion is something you do to another human being. There is a big difference.
