Slavery in America was not limited to people from Africa.
"Lily-White" Irish people were also slaves. The brutalities associated with African slaves were also inflicted upon Irish slaves. Many people refer to Irish slaves as being 'indentured servants' that aren't considered property. But these so-called Irish 'indentured servants' could be sold, loaned, or inherited, thus they were considered property.
Irish slaves lived under conditions so brutal that most were whipped and beaten, sometimes to death. Many of the Irish were kidnapped by organized criminal rings and sent to work on American plantations.
Most of this slavery of White Irish people took place in and around my home area of Boston.
So while there was some official out in Kalifornicator demanding $5 million for each Kally Black, I would be remiss not to demand $5 million for having my descendants suffer through their slavery.
So, all you Irish Americans, claim your rightful reparations now. You are as entitled to one as any "person of color." When any government begins paying reparations to the descendants of African slaves, let them begin payments also to the descendants of the Irish.
Around the 7 minute mark of the video below is when it highlights the start of the influx of Irish slavery to America.
