If I were President

If I were President I like to think I’d call up acting AG Matthew G. Whitaker and his deputy Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Chris Ray to the White House, as their boss, and demand of them an explanation of why the arrest of Roger Stone was carried out like a WW2 Nazi Gestapo raid with 17 FBI cars, dozens of FBI agents equipt with assault weapons, and body armor at 6 AM when Stone isn’t even being charged with a violent crime and never has been charged with a violent crime. And I’d also need to know how CNN knew to have a camera crew across the street to video the arrest. They better damned sure have a damned good reason for the side show of un-American injustice and intimidation. If they couldn’t provide an excuse to my satisfaction I’d fire them on the spot.

The more I think about that raid, the more pissed off I get.

Did you ever just look at a politician or a government bureaucrat and have that feeling they were/are crooked? That’s how I see Christopher Ray, Rod Rosenstein and Bob Mueller. IMO, There’s no godly reason any FBI Chief should ever pull a stunt like Ray had to sanction, that was acted out against a non violent suspect like Roger Stone. Every American should be shocked, sickened and outraged about it. I have no doubt that Bobby Mueller recommended the intimidation too.

Blame Trump!

I have learned not to just take teabaggers at their word. Let me verify this for myself.

Link to a reputable source that demonstrates there were "17 FBI cars", and the raid was on the nature and scale of a counter-terrorism operation (flash bang grenades, "Gestapo tactics", and dozens of agents decked out in assault gear, whatever).

Oh, really.

Is that what you would do if you were president"

Oh...okay.

It is a normal arrest. He was not treated differently. But since he is a Republican and a Trump backer, you think he should be.
They had every reason to think he would destroy evidence. They did not want him flushing the evidence down the toilet. Poor people who are raided face flash grenades and ARs in their faces.

The President has nothing to do with the how and why and where and when of arrests, capice?

The Justice Department including the FBI are part of the President's cabinet and are responsible to the President. One of every President's major responsibilities is to see to it that every American's rights are protected and every American is treated with "EQUAL" justice. And that's why every President has the authority to fire and replace everybody in his/her cabinet.

A major "responsibility" of the president is to see that "the buck stops in his office."

The fucking moron now in the Oval Office has responsibility for everything done by his appointees. He appointed the FBI Director...and the acting Attorney General. He, Donald Trump, is responsible for whatever went down when Stone was arrested.

The arrest went okay as far as I can see. No one was hurt or shot; the arrest was made; and the search warrant enforced.

You're kidding right? Like they didn't know who and what Roger Stone was! Like they didn't know he'd never been arrested and charged with a violent crime! Like they couldn't just knock on his door at 10:00 Am and arrest him before he even knew who they were! I hope with my every breath Nordi buddy that one day they come for your leftist ass with the same vigor. Every American should be appalled and if you're not, you're a Nazi bastard!

The arrest went OK only if you hate Trump and adore Mueller and are a latent Nazi!!!!!

The arrest went okay even if you love Trump, hate Mueller, and are a horse's ass...like you.

It just went off without a hitch.

Under any circumstances...if you think the FBI and the Department of Justice fucked up...

...you've got Donald Trump to blame. He's the guy who appointed the people who run those places.

. . . which has nothing to with Stone's arrest. But if you think the arrest was fucked up, then you can look at the fuck up President.

Keeping up your juvenile standards with the insults I see Frank.

Under any circumstances...if you think the FBI and the Department of Justice fucked up...

It wasn't just a fuck up Frankie, it was what we can expect in Russia, China and Cuba. I'm not surprised you treasure it so!

That's the only part you got right Frankie. I do blame Trump and if he had any gonads he'd fire the bastards. His major problem is the DOJ & FBI are still loaded with Obama leftovers and never Trumpers and he's getting swamp rat advise from swamp rats on his appointments.

I am looking at Trump and blaming him for not having the balls to fire the bastards that were involved in the Nazi arrest and I'm blaming the swamp rats that give Trump advise about his appointments. D.C. is the most corrupt city in America!

I told you why that is common practice. You think he should have goitten special treatment. But then, you love the Trump imperial presidency.
All Americans should be pleased that a special person was treated like a regular person by the FBI.

It is true the level of corruption in DC is on a 2-year rise. Trump is giving a master class in self-aggrandizing and corruption.

C'mon, Robo.

You consider being called "a horse's ass" an insult???

You're a Trump supporter...of course you are a horse's ass. Besides, being called a Trump supporter is much more insulting than being called a horse's ass.

It wasn't just a fuck up Frankie, it was what we can expect in Russia, China and Cuba. I'm not surprised you treasure it so!

It was an arrest...arranged by the Director of the FBI...and apparently okayed by the Acting Attorney General. The are both Donald Trump appointees.

Where's the loyalty?

Hey, now we are on the same page.

Like you, I consider Donald Trump to be an incompetent, jerk-off who has no idea of how to operate as chief executive of a government. I also agree with you that the incompetent jerk-off keeps asking for advice from other incompetent jerk-offs...and that the result is government that is about as fucked up as it is possible to get.

If there was a swamp here...it definitely is larger in size...and more disgusting in smell because of Donald Trump.

See!

We started off disagreeing...

...but now we are 5 x 5.

LOCK HIM UP!
LOCK HIM UP!
LOCK HIM UP!

At this point, it's far more likely the FBI will be busting down your door for carrying water for a traitorous Russian asset and his Russian GOP sycophants than anyone bustin' down Nord's.
