So, let's say that Obama was in office and chose to make 2 small changes to the ACA that actually would have made that unaffordable mess very slightly more affordable, like by dollars, not really affordable just minusculely more so.... Shipping is onerous overpriced garbage these days. Was much better a decade or so ago.I can tell you that getting things shipped from the UK / Europe, no tariff involved necessarily, is grotesquely expensive mostly because of the UK and Europe. The bureaucracy is onerous.
I just ordered from Rimmer Brothers in the UK a pair of MGTF / MGF 240mm conversion brake discs (they fit perfectly on a Lotus Europa rear suspension to switch it to disc brakes.) These cost me in USD just a little over $20 each. Shipping after export duty, VAT, and whatnot, came to $93 USD and change.
