With today's filing by Manafort's lawyers in Virginia, it is crystal clear that Manafort and his legal team is speaking to an audience of one (Trump) and simply trying to position Manafort for a pardon.

While it is perfectly conceivable that Trump could issue a pardon to Manafort, the State of New York is prepared to prosecute Manafort upon being pardoned. Fortunately, a state prosecution is not subject to a presidential pardon. As such, Trump cannot save Manafort.

Simply put, Manafort IS going to jail for several years and rightfully so.

Because they know Manafort is a CRIMINAL and they don't want him to be able to just walk away from his crimes scot free just because of his close friendship with another CRIMINAL who has the power to pardon him and thus, allow him to do just that.

If Mueller has anything criminal on Trump, I hope he's impeached removed and jailed. I also hope that the Justice department indicts Hillary Clinton, and all of the crooked bastards in the Obama Justice Department the FBI, CIA and NSA and cleans house and jails every one of those bastards!
