If you don't believe in God, you should be raped

FUCK THE POLICE

911 EVERY DAY
Body: : A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit
some friends one
evening
and time passed quickly as each shared
their
various experiences of the past year.

She ended up staying longer than
planned,
and
had to walk home alone.

She wasn't
afraid
because it was a small town and she lived
only
a
few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm
trees,
Diane asked God to keep her safe from
harm
and
danger.

When she reached the alley, which was a
short
cut to her house, she decided to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she
noticed
a
man standing at the end as though he
were
waiting
for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray,
asking
for
God's protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness
and
security wrapped round her, she felt as
though
someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley,
she
walked right past the man and arrived
home
safely.

The following day, she read in the
newspaper
that
a young girl had been raped in the same
alley
just
twenty minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and
the
fact
that it could have been her, she began to
weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help
this
young woman, she decided to go to the
police
station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so
she
told
them her story.

The police asked her if she would be
willing to
look
at a lineup to see if she could identify
him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out
the
man
she had seen in the alley the night
before.

When the man was told he had been
identified,
he
immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery
and
asked if there was anything they could do
for
her.

She asked if they would ask the man one
question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not
attacked
her.

When the policeman asked him, he
answered, "Because she wasn't alone.

She
had
two tall men walking on either side of
her.

"

Amazingly, whether you believe or not,
you're
never alone.

Did you know that 98% of
teenagers
will not stand up for God?

Repost this as Love vs.

Sex

if you truly
believe
in
God..

PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you
no matter what...and if you stand up for him he will
stand up for you.

I bet 50% of you people that read this won't repost

I wonder how that makes all the people who have been harmed in any way after praying hard and believing in God.

I guess some of his faithful just need to be raped, murdered , maimed and such.

You could have taken the freaking spaces out water!

But then it wouldn't have been authentic.

I just thought the story was stupid, because God protected this one little girl, and then in return allowed another to get raped 20 minutes later. A lot of good you did there, God.

The Grapes of Wrath has this one great part where the grandfather is dying, and the mother is praying to "Gawd", and forcing everyone else in the family to pray to Gawd, but the Grandfather dies anyway, and painfully. It's one of the more powerful anti-religious things I've seen written, and I'm kind of surprised it didn't spark more outrage in its day.

The spaces are annoying. As to the story I have heard many like this in my years of life. I believe that some people believe them to actually be true. I do believe that some things happen or don't happen because of the providence of God. I also believe that God gave us the sense not to walk down a dark alley with a man waiting at the other end.

Stories like this one are dreamed up and told so that the uber-religious can tell them to unsuspecting people to get them interested in their religion. Kind of like the story in the Grapes of Wrath Water brought up can be used by the anti-religious.

It was probably written by a teenager, which is why it seems juvenile. A lot of Christian post these kinds of chain letters all the time, and they put at the end something like "ZOMG YOU HATE JESUS IF YOU DON'T REPOST THIS?!" I guess it's better than the chain letters that end in "You will get killed by a ghost if you don't repost this in 5 minutes!" or "If you repost this in 5 minutes the person you like will call you at 12 AM!", though.

The message at the end of of this story is morally ambigious and alienates me. But this sort of stuff gets posted all the time amongst my Mississippi friends, and I don't mind. The religious and non-religious can get along. But I'm going to have to kill this one. :(
