What compounds the constant fear and mourning is a visceral sense of betrayal. In the past three federal elections, Arab American voters in Michigan have become a crucial and dependable voting bloc for the Democratic Party, and we were part of the wave that delivered for Joe Biden four years ago. But this fact seems long forgotten by our candidate as he calls for our votes once more while at the same time selling the very bombs that Benjamin Netanyahu’s military is dropping on our family and friends.

8 million muslims in Michigan voted for Dementia Joe? They should have voted for Trump and this war would have never happened. Israel losing 1200 people is like the US losing 50,000 people. If Hamas terrorist killed 50,000 Americas you can bet your ass we would not stop until all of Hamas was dead.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news for these folks, but regardless of how the Arab- and Muslim-Americans vote in MI, Biden is going to carry the state.

I know this to be true because Whitmer absolutely PUMMELED her GOP opponent by a margin larger than the share of the Arab vote in the state.

These people are overplaying their hand and it's going to bite them in the ass politically when Biden wins and then does nothing for the community that didn't show up for him.

Whitmer won in 2022 by 500,000 votes.

At most, the Arab- and Muslim-American community in MI accounts for about 100,000-200,000 votes. Even if 90% of them withhold their vote from Biden, he will still carry the state based on how the Dems won in 2022.

Netanyahu is doing that, and Netanyahu needs to go.

Netanyahu and Hamas are the obstacles here...until both are gone, there won't be a lasting peace.

Biden can't force the Israeli government to impeach Netanyahu because Biden is the President of the United States, not the President of Israel.

And if Biden withheld military support for Israel, Israel would just turn to Russia or China for their military needs because Netanyahu has no compunction about doing that kind of thing.

OK and like I said, if we stopped giving them weapons, they'd just go get them from someone else...someone who really doesn't give a shit what they do with them.

Personally, I think peace is even less likely if Russia or China end up arming Israel...it's in their interests for the region to continue to be destabilized, and RU or China arming Israel would go a long way towards achieving that goal.

Do you think Vladimir Putin or Xi don't want more influence in the Middle East?

Because I'll tell ya what...the minute we stop sending arms to Israel is the same minute Netanyahu reaches out to China or Russia.

Israel is not going to stop what they're doing in Gaza until Netanyahu is gone. But even getting rid of Netanyahu leaves Hamas, who also have to go.

As I said, there are only two obstacles to peace and ending this war: Netanyahu and Hamas.

Not sure what is so hard for you to understand about Hamas and Netanyahu being the only obstacles to peace.

Mindlessly screaming "genocide" for effect doesn't remove those obstacles.

Those obstacles can only be removed by the people they are obstructing; that means Israelis impeaching Netanyahu and the Palestinians lynching Hamas.

Both have to go for the war to end.

All I've said is that there are two obstacles to peace: Netanyahu and Hamas.

I've said that Netanyahu needs to be impeached and that Hamas needs to be lynched.

I've said that it will take BOTH in order for there to be peace.

I said that if we stopped sending weapons to Israel, Bibi will just get them from somewhere else.

Whether you want to accept it or not, that is the present reality.

Screaming about "genocide" changes nothing.

You're not going to be able to shame Netanyahu into leaving office, and you're not going to be able to get Israel out of Gaza with performance art.

You do not go against Israel in the US. Biden is criticizing Israel for slaughtering so many Palestinians. Even that gets blowback. We have been training and arming Israelis for decades.
