The claim: Ocasio-Cortez tweeted she is COVID-19 positive because Republicans can't date her and because of climate change and racism

"I got COVID because Republicans can't date me. And Climate Change. And Racism," reads the purported tweet.

The Facebook post accumulated more than 1,000 interactions within two days. Similar versions were also shared.

No, she didn't. The image of the tweet is altered.

Not surprising, appears a common trait among right leaning information sources, however, their goal, and again, a common trait, is not to report facts, but rather just initiate an innuendo, their echo chamber will take it from there and when the lemmings see it they will swallow it whole, you can see that here daily
