Imagine if Libertarians and Never Trumpers had gotten their ideological way.....that we do not vote for people like Trump because he is stupid and vote for candidates that don't have a chance in hell but make us feel good.

If that had been the case, we would have had a Hillary Presidency and instead of two conservative justices, with a third possible, we would have a very left leaning SCOTUS.

Elections do have consequences which is why there are times we have to hold our noses and vote for those who are closest to our ideals but never a perfect match.

I never liked Trump in the primaries and did not vote for him in them. That stated, he was the Republican choice and that was far better than the alternative. Today, I am liking the man more and more not because he speaks any less weirdly, but because he has exposed the Fascism, the rot, the hatred and corruption of the leftist ideology and Democratic Party of the Jackass.

I haven't missed an election, whether it be a presidential, midterm, off year, run off, primary, special, etc., since I voted for the first time. I can't any of my votes were a hold my nose vote or I would have not voted. However, when I vote for President, one of my primary concerns is who the winner will pick for the SCOTUS should there be vacancies.
