Poll shows majority now back impeaching Trump amid crises

A new Strength In Numbers/Verasight poll finds 55% of U.S. adults support a House impeachment vote against Donald Trump, a level comparable to Richard Nixon during Watergate.

The survey follows Trump's threat to destroy Iran's 'entire civilization' and comes amid declining approval ratings on the economy and foreign policy.

The results signal mounting legal, political, and public pressure that could erode institutional stability and voter trust ahead of the midterms.

AP-NORC and Fox News polling show steep declines in Trump’s approval on the economy, now at 30–34%, with inflation and Iran policy drawing bipartisan criticism.

Even core Republican voters express dissatisfaction, with some former supporters labeling him a betrayal of campaign promises.

The downturn coincides with rising costs, tariff impacts, and policy whiplash in the Middle East, undermining his once-strong economic brand.

"“I feel disgusted with myself, I feel betrayed, like he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It’s like high school class president: ‘I’m gonna promise we are going to get pizza every single day,’ Then as soon as they get elected they are like, ‘Oh, I lied.’

Trump’s own voters turn on him in shock new impeachment poll

A growing faction of Donald Trump’s supporters is now calling for his removal from office, a new poll has revealed.

The majority of those surveyed by Strength in Numbers/Verasight answered “yes” when asked, “Would you support or oppose the U.S. House of Representatives voting to impeach Trump?”

The poll found that 55 percent supported impeachment, 37 percent did not, and eight percent were unsure.
