While Mr. Trump has already been deemed a felon, if Justice Merchan postpones his sentencing until after the Nov. 5 election, the American people will vote without knowing whether Mr. Trump will spend time behind bars.

A delay would also reward the stalling tactics Mr. Trump has deployed throughout the case, and feed the very impression the judge has labored to dispel — that the former president is above the law.

Jailing Trump or house arresting Trump immediately after the Regime proclaims its candidates the winners makes a lot of sense.

If Trump wins in November Merchan's decision goes on hold for 4 years... If Trump loses in November, who gives a shit?

If on the other hand, Merchan sentences Trump before Nov 5, half or more of the nation will see the move as purely political and an attempt to alter the outcome of a national election.

The trial was politically motivated and the outcome is political too.
