In the real world, America has one of the best economies on Earth

How much better would it be if the government wasn't regulating and taxing the shit out of it?
Taxes on the wealthy have dropped from Ikes times to now. The wealthy are being taxed at under a third of what they were. Corporate taxes have been slashed.
America's problem is the lack of revenue that those tax breaks caused.

Typical emptyheaded Leftist bullshit.

America's problem is (Biden) wasting money on illegals. Send them home.

Our problem in this area is NOT too much taxing, but rather NOT NEARLY ENOUGH taxing. But, some Americans just do not want to be taxed. They want to run their country on the cheap.

Because of them, we are...and we getting what "running it on the cheap" brings.

UK and Japan are shrinking. China is at best unstable. It might be as good as America, but that is doubtful. Europe is going slow.

America's economy is strong. India is growing faster, but that is from an absolutely sad per capita rate. It is basically impossible to find an economy with as much absolute growth as the USA.

More than three years ago, Trump practically guaranteed that if Americans dared to elect Biden there would be an unprecedented and apocalyptic economic depression.

How much does it matter, though?

We live in a world of very low expectations
where pretty much the best of everything
is still likely to blow chunks.

We all have our own theories.

Mine is that incompatible people are being forced to co-exist,
and I'm pretty confident in that observation's validity.

Exactly, most of the world is fighting off a pull to recession but not the US

So is your “incompatible people are being forced to co-exist” imply that the US is no longer a cohesive entity? That we are no longer a unified nation of different peoples?

You have no idea how the right and wealthy have trained you. Your Pavlovian reactions are sad. Your lack of knowledge is amazing. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/eis...icans-mitt-romney-pay-taxes/story?id=15387862

Unlike you, I don't have envy of those that are rich and a desire to punish them by confiscating their wealth. I don't see the 'money pie' as fixed in size, and think anyone can grow wealth if they really want to.

I also believe firmly that government is the worst way to accomplish just about anything. Government is slovenly, incompetent, uncaring, and expensive. So, giving government masses of money generally results in poor outcomes with much of that money squandered.

Thus, massively taxing the rich accomplishes nothing but negatives.

Confiscation? Envy? You do make crazy statements based in nothing. We built the road system in Ikes time. I am sure the narrow reading material that amuses you does not cover the worst wealth gap in history, even worse than the Gilded Age. https://americancompass.org/economi...vyE745f22MPcmlggydZWYY5GwFIWf2UhoCuFYQAvD_BwE
