Climate change did not cause the LA fires. Climate isn’t an ignition source.
Instead of making an actual effort to reduce fire risk in Southern California, such as:
• Requiring utility companies to put their power lines underground,
• Mechanically thinning underbrush and having better water resource management, or,
• Having a greater fire rescue / law enforcement presence to ensure fires are not started accidentally from a campfire or intentionally by arson, progressives would rather blame every weather / environmental disaster on climate change to justify their “net zero” policies and politicize the crisis to lay the groundwork for lawsuits and restrictive legislation to advance their agendas.
Rinse, wash, repeat with every natural disaster.
Anything to distract from their own failed policies.
As a result, no policies that will actually save life and property are legislated and ratified.
