Native Hawaiians have Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems (NHHCS) and the lower incomes are eligible for Medicaid.
Also I’ve been to Fiji and French Polynesia.
Native French Polynesians are far, far better off than native Fijians who gained their independence from GB.

Not sure if it is true but I have been told at a couple of points that the natives tend to be assholes towards non natives, unless they are being paid.
