Initial reporting says full grand jury never actually saw or voted on Comey indictment.

Bombshell about grand jury: Interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan took the stand briefly Wednesday, saying only two grand jurors reviewed the final indictment it handed up against former FBI Director James Comey.

Not only is this a crime on the part of Halligan, it should result in Bondi being disbarred as well since she claimed she reviewed the grand jury transcript twice and approved of the method used.

Justice Department told to address Comey grand jury bombshell by 5pm today

From CNN's Katelyn Polantz
Judge Michael Nachmanoff directed the Justice Department to respond in a filing by 5pm tonight to the revelations that interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan hadn’t presented the charges James Comey now faces to the full grand jury for approval.

It will be interesting to see what their response is. What this means is Halligan had the grand jury foreman sign a document that the jury never voted on and then told a judge that this was a result of 14 people voting to indict Comey.

If that is true, its a fundamental mistake, the prosecutor should lose her license to practice law, and the case will be dismissed.

Staggering incompetence at best and illegality at worst.

There were clear signs of this which i detailed in the chat below but this admission that basically they took the Indictment presented with 3 charges where the grand jury rejected one, and DID NOT re- present it to see if it could pass and instead just scratched out the one that the GJ would not pass and presented it as passed without presenting to the full GJ.

Pam Bondi in legal trouble...

I guess you gotta let the prosecution present its argument against dismissing this case, but I cant see how they don't.

Is there something I am missing here?

His people are always so incredibly incompetent.
@T. A. Gardner has insisted since the start of this trial that Comey and James and others being charged by Trumps DoJ would almost certainly plead out, citing the incredibly high conviction rate the DoJ historically has.

Terry does not recognize that this is Trump and he is stupid and he put in loyalists who are stupid over competent professionals which means the 'historical conviction rate is meaningless'.

We are already seeing record high failures to grand jury indictments by Trumps DoJ, that even ham sandwiches are mocking and that is due to incompetence.

Now they will say the judge is a SWAMP CREATURE and he won on a TECHNICALITY. The kinda thing Trump would say was a TOTAL VINDICATION.

The best out for the DoJ here is to hope the case is dismissed for the 'improper appointment' and that then means that with no pending case the judge would have no reason to continue to push on this fraud and illegality.

If i am Comey teams though i push for rulings on ALL the motions regardless arguing that the DoJ can appeal the 'improper appointment' and if they were to win then we would be back here asking for rulings on the other motions again, taking more time and cost. Just rule on them all, so then if the DoJ appeals it can all be considered at once.

Not sure if that can done but it is what should be done.

That would be a very good move. Smart.
