Please discuss.

It appears to me that though the questions were phrased a number of ways about 40% of voters approve of the ACA, 40% think it's to liberal, 15% think it's not liberal enough and 10% are undecided. That means 55% of the public opposes the conservative position. To abolish the ACA that means conservatives would need to bridge that gap of 15% but even if they were to convince all undecided voters to oppose the ACA they would still need to bridge a 5% gap.

That tells me that the ACA isn't going anywhere soon and that it does have broad support. By that I mean that th 15% who oppose the ACA as not being liberal enough would with out a doubt support it over the conservative alternative (assuming there is one).

that is why the Rs hate it so much.

they know full well it completely kills dead their big government bullshit propaganda.

Government is NOT the problem

Government is the solution.

Guess who agreed with me?

the people who designed our government

They lost three elections fighting it.
Are they dimwitted enough to make it 4!
LOL What do you think? LOL

I don't think really we're going to see much of a sea change at all in the 2013 election. Repubs might pick up a couple of seats in the Senate cause Dems have more seats at stake in this election cycle. That's reversed in 2016 and there's a good chance Dems will exceed the 60 threshold. In the house, I think you'll see the Dems make some modest gains but not enough to take the house. At the State level I'm not expecting much change either.

You're point though is a valid one. The GOP is probably painting itself into a corner where the PPACA is concerned between that and the Southern strategy. With the ACA being "fully implemented" in 2014 you'll see its popularity start to rise. As that happens people will remember. In addition the GOP is becoming more and more of a charicature as the party of Southern Rednecks. That will make it extremely difficult to the GOP to win national level elections unless they do something to change that.

But as you pointed out they appear to be doubling down of the same old Strategy that's lead them to defeat in 4 of the last 5 elections.

Three elections dimwit? It was passed in 2010 you dullard.

Not only are you an illiterate dimwit, but you can't comprehend simple facts. You really are THAT stupid. No wonder you're a Democrat.

Government is the solution.

I'd like to memorialize this statement because it is exactly what all Liverals believe; except for the irony and hypocrisy that liberal dunces like you only believe this if YOUR "deciders" are in charge.

It also speaks to your historical ignorance and naïveté related to the failures of massive Government interventionism.

Guess who agreed with me?

the people who designed our government

Wrong again dunce; if they thought Government was the solution, they would not have designed one that is supposed to be "part time" and one that would be nearly impossible for single party control.

There is a reason power was divided by the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches.

But you're typical of the liberal dunces in America who have zero comprehension of the Constitution and it's concepts of liberty. You really are THAT stupid and repugnant.

You're interpreting the poll incorrectly; it doesn't mean that 55% oppose the Conservative position.

What it does say is that a majority of Americans, as well as partisan Democrats who voted for it, don't understand what is contained in this massive legislative mess. Who can when the provisions are being made up as they go?

In addition, everyone thinks that healthcare needs reforming; but not many think this mess called Obamacare will or can do it.

My prediction; as Americans become aware of the hidden costs, the lies used to garner support by the Administration and Democrats, and the job killing aspects already being felt, they will come to hate this joke of a bill passed along hyper partisan lines under false pretenses.

You can fool some of the sheeple some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the sheeple most of the time.

ACA, which was passed without a clear idea what it was to accomplish other than dupe uninformed sheeple into believing Democrats really care, was passed by liars like Pelosi in the correct belief that once a law is passed, it usually never gets repealed, and that once passed, can be morphed eventually into a single payer system which was the goal of leftist liberals all along.

As is typified by liberal ideologues; they know their programs will never garner public support if they are honestly debated, therefore, they have to mask it as something it is not. Democrats used the huge majority they won in 2006 and Obamas Presidency to shove this mess down Americas throat ignoring the fact that the majority did not support such an effort.

I believe that by 2016, the American sheeple will be awakened to a new reality; the failure of the Obama Presidency and continued economic malaise that could marginalize Democrats for another decade.

Truth deflector and the dimwits( good punk band name)
Will lose their 4 & 5th elections fighting these reparations.

Dear dunce; obviously calendar math is not your forte', or reality, or the truth or the facts.

Republicans have won as many Presidential elections as Democrats and it appears to be cyclic due to the whims of the voters at the time.

I am struggling to find this losing 4th and 5th election you keep referring to.

But you're a dunce; and dunces say incredibly stupid things.

Actually I stand corrected. It's 5 out of the last six elections. Repulbican Presidential candidates have lost the popular vote in the 2012 Presidential election, the 2008 election, the 2000 election, the 1996 election and the 1992 election. That's 5 out of the last 6.

Well to quote Pete Rose....wanna bet?

Methinks fraud in Ohio in 2004 also.....

One also must consider that it will be difficult to pull health insurance from millions now insured. The political ads pretty much write themselves at that point.

I didn't know that you were the one who made the dunce like claim. I thought The Dupe made it.

So to answer you; since when did Presidential elections rely on popular vote? I must have missed that one.

Again,

2000 = Republican
2004 = Republican
2008 = Democrat
2014 = Democrat

I'm just not seeing a pattern here.

Let's go back further:

1996 = Democrat
1992 = Democrat
1988 = Republican
1984 = Republican
1980 = Republican
1978 = Democrat
1974 = Republican
1968 = Republican
1964 = Republican

Nope, still don't see anything that supports the moronic claims of the loony lefties here. If anything, it appears that republicans do better in Presidential elections.

Once again we have uninformed clueless liberals talking out of their butts again; perhaps thinking with them as well.

Now as it relates to Congress; for almost six decades Democrats dominated Congress; the trend appears to be away from that domination based on recent elections beginning in 1994.

Carry on.
