OK picture two bank robbers, one Black and one white, driving from a bank robbery, and shooting randomly into an average crowd of people. They kill five people each, one Black and four whites. Blacks make up about 20% of the population, so random chance would mean that is reasonable. That would make the Black four times more likely to commit interracial murder as compared to same race murder than the white, due to nothing more than random chance.

Instead, Blacks are only twice as likely. There is something that is causing whites to be more likely to commit interracial violence than random chance would suggest. Best guess is that people kill their neighbors, and a Black living in an almost all white neighborhood is far less likely to commit murder than a white living in an almost all Black neighborhood.

But the fact is that whites are more likely to commit interracial murder than random probability would suggest.

I have an 86% chance of being murdered by 32% of the population... And it is not the Blacks.
