Time Names iPhone Best Gadget of the Year

Accolades for the iPhone continued today with Time magazine naming the iPhone the "Best Gadget of the Year".

Last month, Time had annointed the iPhone as the "Invention of the Year", so this latest announcement does not come as a surprise. "iPhone changed the way we think about how mobile media devices should look, feel and perform," said the magazine. The only shortcoming was the AT&T network which the magazine described as "painfully slow".
