Iran's Economy Has Collapsed

The US-led blockade has paralyzed Iranian oil exports, costing approximately $435 million a day in economic damage.
Wow, that does sound bad. So $435 million a day, for 92.4 million Iranians would be $4.71 per person per day, or about $1,700 per year. Their per capita PPP GDP is $20,279, so this would be a 8.5% drop in GDP.

This will cost the average American about the same, but that will cause a smaller drop in GDP.

But that assumes that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed. If it does open, and Iranians are paid hundreds of billions for that, then they will have much more money(or at least the government will).
