Is Bagram AFB just another Epstein Distraction?

Trump dictates that Afghanistan return Bagram AFB to him. The Taliban tell him to pack sand. Is this just another distraction or with Trump order Hegseth to turn the Department of War loose on Afghanistan....again?

The Taliban government on Sunday rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s bid to retake Bagram Air Base, four years after America’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan left the sprawling military facility in the Taliban’s hands.

Trump on Saturday renewed his call to reestablish a U.S. presence at Bagram, even saying “we’re talking now to Afghanistan” about the matter. He did not offer further details about the purported conversations. Asked by a reporter if he’d consider deploying U.S. troops to take the base, Trump demurred.

“We won’t talk about that,” Trump said. “We want it back, and we want it back right away. If they don’t do it, you’re going to find out what I’m going to do.”

On Sunday, chief Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid rejected Trump’s assertions and urged the U.S. to adopt a policy of “realism and rationality.”

If you had a brain, which you obviously do not, you wouldn't ask or suggest such stupid nonsense.

This speaks to what i said at the time of the Biden pull out from Afghanistan and that was the Trump admin would have never done it. THey would have TACo'd and extended the timing indefinitely as they wanted to be there and now Trump proves it.

What they wanted to do was put Biden in a bind by negotiating with the Taliban, while excluding the Afghan gov't and setting a time line for withdrawal that could not be done without leaving a lot behind.

Magats then said all Biden needed to do was extend the time, but if he did that, and the Taliban saw that as the US breaking the deal, and they escalated to attacks on US forces to try and force them it was not worth it to stay, those same magats would then have blamed Biden saying 'Trump already had a deal, and all Biden had to do was stick to it'.

So if Biden sticks to the deal he has to leave stuff behind and will get blamed. If he extends and the Taliban attack, it is his fault for not sticking to the deal.

Two main thoughts:
1. Biden could have still stuck with the timeline. He botched the execution by the simple fact that our allies were caught flatfooted. The suicide bombing with hundreds of Afghans murdered was only partially his responsibility as it is Trump's for negotiating a bad deal.

2. The United States military does not leave equipment behind for the enemy to use. Any equipment or weapons that couldn't be removed were destroyed or spiked rendering them unusable. The equipment the Taliban captured was what was sold/given to the Afghan army during our years in Aghanistan. MAGAts are liars.

ya i don't dispute that. I am just saying he was set up in a way to get massive criticism no matter the path chosen.

Trump not involving the Afghan gov't in the decisions of the withdrawal lead directly to them just fleeing and the military completely falling apart thus making Biden have to pull up short and fast. And had Biden said 'we are staying longer' and a single American got hurt as a result, the magats would have cried bloody murder saying 'Trump gifted Biden a path to leave and all he had to do was stick to it'.

Then he shouldn't have taken the job. LOL Seriously, Biden was the President and it was his duty to do what was best for the nation. Fucking over our allies and hundreds of Americans in Afghanistan in a mad rush to exit is all on him.

Trump fucked up the negotiations. He was looking for the Nobel Peace Prize for himself, not what was best for the nation. Same Shit, Different Day now.
