Is gun control finished for the near future after the riots?

With the civil unrest plaguing the country and guns flying off the shelves at all the gun stores, I believe the issue is off the table for the near future.

If the D's get both houses and POTUS then you will get a visit, your choice will be to either give up your guns or else have your life ruined.

Nope. Life won't be ruined for us responsible gun owners. Life may be ruined for those who come and try to take them though...

Do you figure that mandatory gun insurance....expensive....is how they will go?

I don't know at this point. But it's no one's business what firearms I own. So not having them registered is definitely an advantage in that respect.

I dont know either, but at some point likely soon the government is coming for as many guns at it can get....I am trying to figure out how this is likely to get done.

Actually it might not go like that....it might go "Pay $1,246 PER WEAPON per year in gun insurance plus rules on par with what the Germans have long done or else sell it to the government for a fraction of what it is worth".

That's not going to happen. Americans get #triggered if someone even suggests shorter magazines or a gun registration.
