Is it possible Democrats are still in denial? Obama has decimated the DNC

Before Obama won the White House, the nation wasn't nearly as divided and Democrats had comfortable control of the House and the Senate. In addition, they controlled 16 State Houses.

During the Obama Presidency, Democrats have now lost the House, the Senate, the White House and only control 6 State Houses.

Over the last eight years, the Liberal media and leftist twits on this forum have been saying that the Republican Party is dead. What has factually been decimated has been Democratic control. How is it possible that Democrats think they are still winning?

If you look at ALL of the factual evidence, the only ones being decimated are the Democrats.

This is my message to the new Republican majority; act like winners and ignore calls to be Democratic light or suffer the results that have occurred with your peers. Of all the Republicans who ran this election, the ONLY ones who lost were those who were anti-Trump.

We do not fall for that Democrats/Media mouth diarrhea here in Texas. This year was rather fun to watch when the threat was to "ignite the Latino Revolution....."
Of registered Latinos a 1/3 voted for Trump 1/3 didn't vote and 1/3 voted for Hillary.
I live in South Texas. Definitely the younger Latinos do not care for the "Plantation Masters" of the Democratic Party. Promise and deliver nothing. These young people are by and far educated young people by the way. Their families, culture is conservative and Pro-Life. The next 20 years here is definitely looking rather bleak for the leftist agenda. This election just proves it. The further left the Democratic Party goes it just drives more your Latino voters to conservative candidates.

Based on what we are seeing in the media; Democrats still don't get it. Let's hope they continue to think they are winning. :rofl2:

Just a point of interest to the discussion. 23rd Congressional District here in South Texas is 89% Latino. Democrats lost.
Republican William Hurd defeated Democrat Pete Gallego. Democrats brought in Nancy Pelosi and had Obama on radio ads. Poured millions in the race. They lost.
If one is to believe the future of the Democratic Party is young people, latinos ...that plan sucks.
What is the plan? I propose to continue a two party system in this country the Democrats MUST move more center than left.
On the flip side.....The Old Republican Guard (see John Bohener Republicans) got their butts handed to them also. They appear to be learning.
I fail to see the Democrats learning anything frankly.

If the "Old Republican Guard got their butts handed to them" why then is Trump filling his transition team full of Goldman Sachs alumni plus long term lobbyists, and a good number of those often mentioned as possible cabinet positions are regular DC fixtures? Seems the only one to get anything handed to them is the conservatives naivety

Great post and pretty much spot on.

It isn't; but feel free to prove your claims with credible links and data. ;)
